Frequently asked Questions

Why is waxing so much better than shaving?

Whenever hair is pulled from the root the hair follicle becomes damaged each time in result your hair grows back finer, less, takes longer to grow back and leaves your skin feeling stubble free and smooth!

How long does my hair have to be for waxing?

Hair length may vary for different parts of the body. For an effective wax 1/8" inch is fine but for an ideal wax 1/4" is better. Keep in mind if hair is to short the wax wont grasp it, if hair is too long it can tug at the skin and may get uncomfortable.

Mother nature has arrived the week of my Brazilian do I need to reschedule?

Absolutely not! As long as you have a tampon in your esthetician will work around it. It's completely normal and happens all the time!

How many waxes will it take to see results?

You will see results right after your first wax. However, depending on your hair type and how course it is it can take up to 4 visits for your hair to grow back on the same growth cycle. When we shave our growth cycle is not the same that is why we shave every 3 days.

What should I do for post care after a wax?

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! As your hair grows back it needs to break through the surface of the skin. When it fails to do so it grows back into the skin in result creating ingrowns. Exfoliating will keep the dead skin cells away from the follicle allowing your hair to poke through easier.

If I Dermaplane my face will my hair come back thicker?

No! That is a myth! We are not changing the structure of the follicle. Your hair will grow back to how it was before the treatment.

Why should I get dermaplaned?

Dermaplaning is a medical grade treatment that removes the top layer of your skin including any peach fuzz! Your skin will instantly feel softer, smoother and look brighter. After dermaplaning your products will penetrate deeper, reduce appearance of acne scars, and diminish the look of fine lines.
